Honey Tree The Children’s Learning Centre provides an integrated course schedule of learning through exploration, scrutiny, and self-reflection.

In every class, our teachers emphasize the strategies and processes involved in learning and self-growth, creating a unique opportunity to prepare our students to live intelligent, thoughtful, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society.

Preschool Adventures (2.5- 5yrs)

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9 am – 1 pm
Tuesday and Thursday 9 am – 1 pm

Program Highlights

-Theme based activities
-Focus on Letters, Numbers, Colors and Phonics
-Arts & Crafts, Science, Music & Movement, Baking
-Social Interaction
-Monthly Field Trips
-ESL (English as a second language)
-Outdoor activities in our Adventure Playground
Program runs September-June

Preschool Explorers (2.5- 5yrs)

A longer program to help the children prepare for a full day at kindergarten.

Choose 2, 3 or 5 days 9 am – 1 pm

Children will explore..

-Language Arts/Phonics

-Social Interactions
-Science
-Math
-Social Studies
-Arts & Crafts
-Field Trips
Program runs September-June

The Learning Center (2.5- 5yrs)

Monday-Friday 7 am – 6 pm
Offering 1/2 or Full days, 2, 3 or 5 days a week

Program Highlights

Daily choice of activities, Painting, Playdough, Fine Motor and Gross Motor activities, Dramatic play, Arts & Crafts, Baking, Science, Field Trips & more

-French, Sign Language and phonics programs
-Yoga
-Music Class (With Instruments)
-Introduction to computers
-Music & Movement
-Monthly Field Trips
-Outdoor Adventures & Nature Walks
-Educational Theme based activities
Program runs all year

Kids Club Fun Time (Kindergarten-12yrs)

Monday-Friday 7 am – 6 pm

Before and after school care
Rates include transportation, early dismissals, professional days, Christmas and Spring Break.
Additional charges for full day summer camp.

Outreach Program

Honey Tree serves families of children with special needs. The child’s special need may include:

-Mental, Physical or Sensory Handicap
-Development Delay
-Speech Disorder

We work very closely with consultants and support workers from “The Centre for Child Development”

Program Highlights

-Direction and training to parents and primary caregivers
-Practical behavior management and discipline in the home
-Registered psychologists experienced in working with children with special needs
