Daycare(2.5 Years – 5 Years)
Our toddler program provides little explorers with a stimulating environment that fosters the age group’s natural curiosity. Your kid will learn the letters, numbers, and shapes.
Our skilled teachers at Honey Tree have created a structured toddler program that promotes sensory play and artistic expression via experiments with modelling clay, paint, water, and sand. Your kid will learn the letters, numbers, and shapes.
Pre K Academy (2.5 years - 5 years)
We offer a unique educational experience, designed to enhance intellectual growth and promote participatory engagement.
Children are encouraged by their teachers to investigate, be inquisitive, ask questions, discuss conflicts, and learn how to bargain with their classmates.
Before & After School (5 Years-12 Years)
With the “continuity of care” benefit of a multi-age program children may have fewer program transitions and remain with the same primary care for the duration of the program. This program provides your child with easy before and after school care.
Summer Camp (5 Years-12 Years)

Pre K Academy ( 2.5 years – 5 years)
Welcome to Honey Tree Daycare’s Pre-K Academy, a specialized program designed for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. Our Pre-K Academy offers a structured 4-hour program from 9 AM to 1 PM, focusing on preparing children for the exciting journey into kindergarten. Our curriculum-based approach ensures that your child gains essential skills and knowledge needed for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Through a blend of play-based activities and structured learning, we foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Before & After School (5 years-12 years)

Our Before and After School Care program is designed to support busy families by offering convenient drop-off and pick-up services to and from local schools. Our program is available before school starts and after school ends, ensuring your child is well-cared for throughout the day. We are so glad to be a part of CCRFI Subsidy to offer Bright Light is on a monthly enrollment and currently does not offer a drop in care, do not need to apply for CCFRI.

AFFORDABLE CHILD CARE
Under this BC daycare subsidy, families with a household income under $111K can receive up to $1,250 per child per month for child care.
The amount you receive is based on your child(ren)'s age, family size, and type of care. Families apply for this benefit directly with the provincial government and need to renew their application every year.

This is a very friendly and welcoming daycare where children enjoy playing together, eating and spending a good amount of time playing outside in the sand and on the slide. There are a variety of toys to choose from; teachers do engaging art and craft activities with the children. Children are always happy there.
I have known the owner Kirat for many years. She is very professional, honest for her work, she always put her profession on top before anything. Honey tree has exceeded many ecxpectations, they take really good care of my son, my nephew and my nieces . Their staff is great at communicating, they always keep me and my family updated throughout the day on our children’s care at their centre. Honey Tree is like a second home for our kids.It’s really clean, organized and full with planned activities including science and munch-kinetics. I highly recommend Honey tree if anyone is looking for care for their children.
After lot of exploration and touring several daycares, we settled on this facility, and we’re very pleased with our experience. The facility is well equipped, has appropriate toys and learning materials. The curriculum includes educational activities, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and storytime.While our experience with this daycare has been mostly positive, one concern we’ve encountered is the frequent turnover of teachers in last 4-6 months. It’s unsettling for both us as parents and our child to consistently see new faces in the classroom.Nonetheless, the old as well as new staff are very friendly and they genuinely care about the children. My both children come home excited about the things they’ve learned and eager to share their experiences. I’m grateful for the care and attention they received here.
Honeytree offers an exceptional work environment characterized by supportive teamwork, open communication. The facility is clean, safe and conducive to learning.
New Management, staff are very rude and disrespectful. Kids are crying all day without staff consoling them or interacting with them, they are just left to cry. Think twice before sending your young children to this daycare. It used to be a nice great place for preschool but not since the new owners took over.

Our Team
Meet our Talented Team
Our team is carefully chosen and are required to take part in three orientation days before they will be considered. Once approved all hired staff are then placed on a three month probation period.
Preschool and daycare supervisors are required to hold a current “Early Childhood Education License to Practice” certificate. Assistants may be currently enrolled in the Early Childhood training. For the older children Honey Tree looks for teachers with background in Early Childhood education or recreation.
Along with certification our staff hold current first aid certificates and have all received criminal record clearance. Honey Tree has dedicated, professional and caring teachers who provide a warm, loving and stable environment for all the children.
Transport Facility
The Children are transported to and from 5 local elementary schools. We have several staff doing drop off and pick up at the schools to ensure safety for your child. The kindergarten children are also taken to and from school each day. If you live out of the area one of our local schools will accept out of catchment children.
Our Honey Tree Schools Bus provides comfort and safety for your child’s daily trips to and from school. Our Bus is also used daily during spring and summer break for outdoor adventures and field trips.
